About The Characters

wm_ch_alicia.jpg Alicia Baird

Vocals & Guitar

Shy and retiring, Alicia comes alive on stage bringing a powerful voice and dynamic stage presence to Wahoo Morris, perfectly complementing the various personalities in the quartet. An intense interest in the Occult and Mythology strongly influence her song writing, adding an exotic flavour to the band’s repertoire. The newcomer to the group, Alicia has gelled with the others musically, but off stage it is a different story. Seemingly distant and unapproachable, she has found it difficult fitting into the tight knit group of long time friends.

Drums & Vocals

A solid and dependable drummer, Arnie made the rounds of punk bands during his early to mid teens. At age 16 he joined college circuit favorites Footrot. A five year, one EP and two album, run ended with the band breaking up - citing burn-out. Taking a break from music, Arnie went back to school. There, he was reacquainted with Chas, an old friend and bandmate, who lured him back into music as the drummer for the fledgling Wahoo Morris. The clown-prince of the group, Arnie is just glad to be along for the ride, making good music with good friends.

Lead Guitar & Vocals

The Primary songwriter for Wahoo Morris, Bash is a versatile and talented young musician. With musical influences both varied and eclectic, he brings a fresh and original sound to the band.
As talented with a brush and pencil as he is with a guitar, this slacker, ‘would-be’ artist, lacks the focus and direction with his art that the band provides for his music. Within the structured format and group camaraderie of the band Bash thrives, finding the encouragement, inspiration, and direction that his art is missing.

Bass Guitar & Vocals

Laying down a solid rhythm on the Bass Guitar, Chas maintains the groove with impeccable timing and a solid sense of harmony. Although not the primary creative force behind Wahoo Morris, Chas is the glue that keeps the band together. It is her drive and unflagging belief in the band that focuses and channels the creativity of the other members and orchestrates the direction of the band’s career. Without her putting it all together, Wahoo Morris would never have got out of the garage.
