A New Look….
December 11th, 2007…and some new functionality, too!
I’ve done a lot of playing around with WordPress over at Craig Taillefer dotCom, enough so that I decided to give WordPress with the ComicPress theme a go over here.
The big changes are that the archives are now housed here, so you no longer need to head over to Web Comics Nation to re-read or catch up. This will also help me track the effectiveness of my advertising when I’m advertising this site but all the new arrivals get shunted over to another site to catch up.
One possible change is that I will now be able to post sketches and pin-ups etc. without having it break up the flow of the comic archive. In the past I have posted extras and then gone back and deleted them later. Now, with the new blogging edition of ComicPress, I can post sketches, pin-ups, and random art in the news posts and keep them fully seperate from the comic archive. This might encourage me to post more than the regular weekly page updates. So subscribe to the RSS feed to keep posted on any extra posts.
This site is still a work in progress. I expect to add to a few of the features over the next few weeks. The launch has also seen a few glitches and snags. I’ll try to work out all the bugs before tomorrow’s new page, but if you see any problems or missing images, please do let me know, either in the comments or by email.
